K-12 Project Manager
We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to join our Seattle-based architecture and design firm. This role will lead the execution of education-focused projects, with a strong emphasis on K-12 and/or Higher Education facilities across Washington State. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical architectural expertise, leadership, and client management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural projects from concept through construction administration
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful project delivery
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including engineers and consultants
- Oversee design documentation and ensure compliance with local Washington codes, regulations, and school district requirements
- Guide and mentor junior staff and support team development
- Conduct quality control reviews of drawings, specifications, and project deliverables
- Utilize Revit for project documentation and team coordination
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture (required)
- Architecture license (RA) preferred, but not required
- 7+ years of post-graduate professional experience in architecture
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing K-12 and/or Higher Education projects in Washington State
- Strong familiarity with local permitting processes, school district standards, and public-sector clients
- Advanced proficiency in Revit required
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience working with public school districts or higher education institutions in the Seattle / Washington market
- LEED accreditation or sustainable design experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of construction documentation and administration processes
