Position Overview:
We are a fully remote engineering firm specializing in mission-critical infrastructure, and we're looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on the design and delivery of electrical systems for data center projects across the U.S. The ideal candidate is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with strong Revit skills and proven experience leading complex projects from concept through construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical design efforts for data center projects, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and backup systems.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, structural, architectural) in a fully remote environment.
- Oversee project schedules, deliverables, and client communications.
- Perform quality control reviews and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal process improvements.
- Utilize Revit and other design tools to produce detailed electrical drawings and models.
- Support proposal development and participate in client presentations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design, preferably for data centers or other mission-critical facilities.
- Proficiency in Revit is essential; experience with AutoCAD, SKM, or ETAP is a plus.
- Strong communication and leadership skills in a remote work setting.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
