Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee multiple mechanical teams, each structured with team leads and supporting engineers.
  • Provide technical leadership, QA/QC oversight, and ensure project delivery aligns with quality, budget, and schedule expectations.
  • Mentor and develop team leaders and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of growth, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Partner with firm leadership to strengthen department performance and support long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Step into an active leadership role to help stabilize workload distribution and improve team efficiency.
  • Collaborate across disciplines and maintain strong communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Skill Requirements:

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
  • Active PE license (mandatory).
  • 12+ years of relevant MEP/mechanical engineering experience
  • Proven experience leading teams and mentoring engineers in a structured environment.
  • Strong technical background in building systems design
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Strong communication skills with a passion for leadership, mentorship, and team development.
