The Opportunity
This is a key hire into their preconstruction team, where you'll have real input on the work they pursue and win. It's not just pricing drawings you'll be involved in strategy, value engineering, and shaping projects before they hit site.

What You'll Be Doing
- Leading estimates for mechanical piping systems (HVAC, hydronic, process piping)
- Producing detailed take-offs from drawings and specifications
- Building full bid packages including labor, materials, and subcontractor pricing
- Engaging with vendors to drive competitive pricing
- Supporting value engineering and preconstruction strategy
- Working closely with PMs and field teams to ensure estimates are realistic and executable
- Playing a part in bid reviews and project win strategy
What They're Looking For
- Background in mechanical estimating, ideally focused on piping
- Experience pricing work within a mechanical subcontractor environment
- Strong understanding of systems, materials, and construction methods
- Comfortable working across multiple bids and deadlines
- Exposure to tools like Bluebeam, OST, Trimble, QuoteSoft, or similar
