Role Overview:
They are seeking a Mid-Level Geologist with strong technical expertise and field experience to support geotechnical and environmental projects. This role involves a mix of office-based analysis and hands-on fieldwork, including site investigations, drilling oversight, and data interpretation. You will collaborate with engineers and scientists to develop practical solutions for diverse challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform geological investigations, including soil and rock sampling, drilling supervision, and site characterization.
- Analyze geologic and hydrogeologic data to support engineering design and environmental remediation.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and provide recommendations based on findings.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
- Travel to project sites (30-50%) for fieldwork and client engagement.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 6 years in geology or related discipline.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Geology or Earth Sciences (Master's preferred).
- Licensure: Professional Geologist (PG) license preferred.
- Strong understanding of geotechnical and environmental principles.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
