A regional energy provider is seeking a Power Generation Engineer to support operations at its generation facilities. This role involves engineering analysis, project coordination, and technical support to ensure efficient and reliable plant performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engineering evaluations and document findings to enhance plant operations and maintenance.
- Collaborate with plant leadership to analyze operational data and troubleshoot maintenance issues.
- Plan, recommend, and manage capital and maintenance projects at power generation sites.
- Provide technical expertise for electrical and mechanical systems, including generators, transformers, motors, relays, VFDs, inverters, and control systems.
- Assist in the development of annual capital and operational budgets for generation facilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Highly organized with effective time management and coordination skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently or within a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
