Power Systems Engineer
Salary: 120,000 - 160,000

With a portfolio of over 100 clients and more than 50 GW of renewable energy projects, our client is a trusted partner in delivering innovative and reliable power system solutions.
Key Responsibilities
As a Power Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Conduct and manage power system studies including load flow, short circuit, arc flash, grounding, and protection and control.
- Review designs for collection systems and substations to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
- Interact with clients regularly to define project goals and deliverables.
- Travel occasionally (up to 25%) to support project execution and client engagement.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Expertise in power system studies, power generation, and electric power systems.
- Advanced knowledge of power system analysis and modeling.
- Proficiency in software tools such as ETAP, ASPEN, PSSE, PSCAD, and CDEGS.
- Strong project management and team leadership skills.
- Familiarity with NERC, FERC, IEEE 1547, and utility/ISO interconnection standards and procedures.
