Key Responsibilities:
- Manage structural engineering design and oversee residential and commercial projects from concept through construction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service and timely delivery.
- Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, and specifications using advanced analysis tools.
- Coordinate with architects, developers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of structural systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Ensure adherence to California Building Code, seismic design requirements, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- California PE license (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe).
- 5+ years of experience in structural design and project management, ideally in residential and commercial sectors.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP2000, RISA, RAM, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of seismic design principles and local building codes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
