The Role:
As a Capital Planning Project Manager for our client, you lead the delivery of building assessment projects from proposal through execution, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to a high technical standard. You manage client relationships, mentor team members, and oversee the development of detailed reports and actionable recommendations. With a strong foundation in industry standards and building codes, you balance technical expertise with strategic planning, guiding multiple projects while promoting a collaborative, client-focused culture.
Responsibilities:
- Lead building assessment projects, ensuring timely, accurate, and budget-conscious delivery.
- Conduct site visits, manage resources, and deliver comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations, including Depreciation Reports, Warranty Reviews, and Condition Assessments.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines aligned with client goals and the company's standards.
- Lead proposal development, including defining project scopes and fee structures.
- Monitor project budgets and timelines, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned.
- Maintain strong client relationships by consistently exceeding expectations.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Promote a positive, professional reputation for the company through high-quality work and client engagement.
- Stay current with industry standards, building codes, market trends, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in capital planning..
- Educational background in engineering, building science, architectural or civil technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general digital tools.
- Valid driver's license with access to a vehicle.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
