Job Title: Environmental Project Manager
Location: Western Australia (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to lead and deliver environmental projects safely, on time, within budget, and in full compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. Individuals with a background in environmental primary approvals and mine closure or facility would be highly desired.

This role will evolve into a key client-facing position, with opportunities to grow into broader business development and leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage environmental projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop and implement detailed project execution plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Participate in strategic project discussions with technical teams and clients.
  • Coordinate internal resources to ensure appropriate staffing and skillsets.
  • Define roles and responsibilities of project team members.
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
  • Review project reports and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with project scope, technical requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Review and approve project invoices in line with internal quality control procedures.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to or lead technical aspects of projects as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in environmental project management.
  • Familiarity with Western Australian environmental regulations and industry practices.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects.
