Role Overview
Lead restoration projects from planning through delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams of skilled union craftsmen, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Ensure projects meet schedule, quality, safety, and budget expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Management
- Develop detailed scopes, budgets, and schedules for masonry, concrete, waterproofing, and coatings projects.
- Coordinate resource allocation and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Execution & Oversight
- Oversee daily jobsite activities; ensure workmanship adheres to company standards.
- Monitor progress, manage change orders, and adjust plans proactively.
- Quality & Safety Assurance
- Conduct regular inspections; ensure compliance with OSHA, SWRI, and internal safety standards.
- Hold weekly site safety meetings; enforce fall protection protocols.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Maintain consistent communication: progress updates, technical discussions, and issue resolution.
- Cost Control & Reporting
- Track project expenses, identify risks, and manage financial performance.
- Generate status reports for internal teams and clients.
- Technical Guidance
- Provide technical solutions on masonry repointing, waterproofing membranes, joint sealants, and coatings.
What We're Looking For
Experience & Technical Skills:
- 5+ years in construction project management-ideally in exterior restoration, masonry, concrete, or waterproofing sectors.
- Strong technical background in façade systems, coatings, and waterproofing practices.
- Familiarity with industry materials and application methodologies.
Leadership & Communication:
- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams of craftsmen, architects, and subcontractors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with clients and project teams.
Organizational Capabilities:
- Exceptional planning, scheduling, and budgeting skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage simultaneous projects.
Certifications & Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
- OSHA 30 certification or SWRI affiliations a plus.
