Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Building Envelope Consultant - Design to join their dynamic team. This is a pivotal role for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in building envelope systems, design, and performance analysis. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and play a key part in delivering durable, high-performing building envelopes for a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and performance analysis of building envelope systems for new and existing structures.
  • Develop detailed design solutions and specifications for envelope components.
  • Perform forensic investigations into building envelope failures and deficiencies.
  • Provide technical expertise on materials, thermal performance, moisture management, and air barriers.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate envelope systems into overall building design.
  • Participate in client meetings, site visits, and oversee construction administration to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Stay current with industry trends, codes, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in building envelope consulting or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of building envelope materials, systems, and performance evaluation techniques.
  • Experience with forensic investigations and failure analysis.
  • Proficiency in design software and building performance modeling tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment drug and background checks.
