Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Building Envelope Consultant - Design to join their dynamic team. This is a pivotal role for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in building envelope systems, design, and performance analysis. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and play a key part in delivering durable, high-performing building envelopes for a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and performance analysis of building envelope systems for new and existing structures.
- Develop detailed design solutions and specifications for envelope components.
- Perform forensic investigations into building envelope failures and deficiencies.
- Provide technical expertise on materials, thermal performance, moisture management, and air barriers.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate envelope systems into overall building design.
- Participate in client meetings, site visits, and oversee construction administration to ensure quality and compliance.
- Stay current with industry trends, codes, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in building envelope consulting or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of building envelope materials, systems, and performance evaluation techniques.
- Experience with forensic investigations and failure analysis.
- Proficiency in design software and building performance modeling tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment drug and background checks.
