Senior Civil Engineer / Assistant Engineering Manager - Fully Remote
We are currently working with a well-established environmental and engineering consultancy seeking a Senior Civil Engineer/Assistant Engineering Manager to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and autonomy while contributing to impactful environmental and infrastructure projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to lead and support work across ecological remediation, civil design, and regulatory compliance. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to both office-based and field-related initiatives (virtually coordinated).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the preparation of site development plans, erosion and sediment control plans, and stormwater management designs.
- Perform hydrology, hydraulic, and drainage calculations.
- Design post-construction stormwater BMPs.
- UtilizeAutoCAD Civil3D for drafting and design, including:
- 3D surface creation
- Grading plans
- Profiles and cross-sections
- Pipe networks and corridors
- Collaborate with project managers to coordinate client communications and proposal development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related field)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 10-15 years of relevant civil engineering experience
- Strong background in:
- Hydrology and hydraulics
- Erosion and sediment control
- Stormwater management
- Land development
- AutoCAD Civil 3D
