A nationally recognized engineering consulting firm is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its downtown Seattle office. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed professional with expertise in site development and infrastructure design. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving complex challenges, and values innovation. You'll work on high-profile projects including urban developments, mixed-use sites, and large-scale commercial projects that shape communities and cityscapes.
This is an in-office role in Seattle, WA. Must be able to reliably commute Monday-Friday.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Design and manage civil engineering aspects of major development projects
- Prepare site layouts, grading plans, utility design, and stormwater management systems
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations
- Support client relationships and assist with proposals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- 5+ years of experience in civil site design and land development
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and stormwater modeling software
- Strong understanding of grading, utilities, and stormwater systems
- Excellent communication and project management skills
