Position Overview

A leading engineering services organization supporting energy and industrial markets is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its on-site team. This role is responsible for the design, analysis, and oversight of electrical and power systems for complex projects, while providing technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, and oversee electrical power systems to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Develop electrical system designs, calculations, and technical documentation for industrial and energy-related facilities.
  • Perform power system studies, troubleshooting, and technical evaluations.
  • Oversee power distribution systems, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
  • Lead and supervise electrical engineering and design teams, providing technical direction and quality oversight.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and support project execution from design through implementation.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and engineering deliverables for quality, accuracy, and constructability.
  • Support project execution through technical guidance during installation, commissioning, and operation phases.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and power systems.
  • Proven experience in electrical system design and power distribution for industrial or energy projects.
  • Demonstrated capability in power system analysis, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience leading and supervising electrical engineering and design teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Preferred Experience

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical design software.
  • Experience working in the energy, power generation, or industrial sectors.
  • Familiarity with industrial safety standards, procedures, and best practices.
