About the Role
Join a leading electrical contractor specializing in industrial, commercial, and healthcare projects. We are looking for a skilled Electrical Estimator with a strong background in electrical contracting or electrical construction.
This is an exciting opportunity with clear career progression to Chief Estimator.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive electrical estimates for large-scale projects.
- Prepare detailed electrical estimates for projects ranging from $5M to $100M.
- Review drawings, specifications, and documentation to develop cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
- Stay current with industry standards, materials, and labor costs.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator.
- Background in electrical contracting or electrical construction is essential.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction practices.
- Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
