The Senior Energy Engineer will be responsible for...
- Conduct facility assessments to identify energy savings, operational improvements, and infrastructure modernization opportunities
- Analyze HVAC, electrical, lighting, controls, and central plant systems to evaluate energy performance and efficiency
- Develop and recommend energy conservation measures, resilience strategies, and capital improvement projects
- Lead engineering teams, coordinate with subcontractors and stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule
- Perform technical and financial analyses, including energy savings calculations and ROI evaluations
- Present recommendations and technical findings to clients, project teams, and industry partners while serving as a trusted technical advisor
The Senior Energy Engineer should have the following...
- 10+ years of experience in HVAC design, energy engineering, energy modeling, or related building systems work
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong knowledge of large building systems including HVAC, controls, lighting, central plants, and building envelopes
- Ability to travel nationwide up to 25-50% and maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience with energy modeling software and energy efficiency programs; CEM, BEAP, PEM, LEED AP, or CxA credentials are a plus
