The Role
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in both project delivery and team leadership. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the structural design and coordination of complex, multi-disciplinary projects from feasibility through to construction.
- Producing and reviewing detailed calculations, technical reports, and construction documentation.
- Working closely with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of structural systems.
- Managing project timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
- Mentoring and supporting junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of learning and development.
- Contributing to internal design reviews, quality assurance processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This role offers a balance of technical leadership, client engagement, and team development-ideal for someone looking to make a meaningful impact within a growing business.
Experience Needed
- Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- PE needed - SE preferred.
- At least 8 years of experience in structural engineering, ideally with exposure to a variety of building types and materials.
- Strong technical skills in structural analysis and design software (e.g., RISA, RAM, ETABS, Revit).
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality work.
