About the Role
An established, employee-owned multidisciplinary design firm is seeking a Senior Project Architect to join its team. The firm provides integrated services across architecture, engineering, interior design, landscape architecture, and planning, with additional expertise in areas such as commissioning, laboratory planning, stakeholder engagement, construction administration, grant support, and land development.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful, sustainable projects of varying sizes and complexities within a collaborative, design-focused environment that emphasizes professional growth and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project coordination, documentation, and specifications from conceptual design through construction completion
- Oversee projects across multiple sectors, scales, and geographic regions
- Mentor and guide team members, particularly in documentation standards and coordination practices
- Perform quality control reviews (QA/QC) across active projects
- Support project management functions and assume leadership responsibilities as needed
- Participate in business development efforts, including client engagement, proposal development, and pursuit strategy
- Occasional travel may be required depending on project needs
Qualifications
- Licensed Architect with 15+ years of professional experience
- Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated experience delivering comprehensive construction documents for mid- to large-scale projects using Revit
- Strong understanding of:
- Building systems and materials
- Building envelope design
- Construction methodologies and execution strategies
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Revit, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite
