About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Remediation Engineer to join their national remediation team. This role offers the opportunity to lead technically challenging projects across the United States while mentoring junior staff and contributing to business development initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver innovative and practical remediation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and operation & maintenance (O&M) of environmental remediation systems across a range of site conditions
- Serve as a technical leader on complex remediation projects, including site investigation, feasibility studies, design, construction, and closure
- Provide oversight and guidance to junior and mid‑level engineers and technical staff
- Collaborate with clients, regulators, and project stakeholders to ensure project success
- Support business development efforts, including proposal writing, scope development, cost estimating, and client interaction
- Assist with developing new client relationships and maintaining long‑term client partnerships
- Participate in strategic planning and national technical initiatives
- Travel approximately 20% to project sites and client meetings across the U.S.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in the design, implementation, and O&M of environmental remediation technologies
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in California or one or more of the following states: UT, AZ, NM, NV, WA, OR
- Strong understanding of a wide range of remediation technologies (e.g., soil and groundwater remedies, in situ/ex situ systems)
- Proven ability to manage projects, budgets, and schedules
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Experience working on large, multi‑site or nationwide remediation programs
- Demonstrated success in proposal development and client engagement
- Experience working in consulting environments with public and private sector clients
