My client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Stormwater Engineer / Project Manager to take a leadership role within their Maryland team. This position is heavily focused on stormwater management, offering the opportunity to lead large, high-impact projects while mentoring teams and supporting business growth.

Responsibilities

Lead complex stormwater design and drainage analysis efforts
Overseestormwater projects including:
- Stormwater management systems
- Drainage and conveyance design
- Stormwater retrofits and improvements
Provide oversight across all project phases from feasibility through construction
Act as a senior point of contact for clients and key stakeholders
Lead permitting strategy and approvals across jurisdictions
Oversee construction observation and documentation
Manage multidisciplinary teams and sub-consultants
Review and approve all technical deliverables and construction documents

Required Experience

20+ years of experience with a strong focus on stormwater engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license (Maryland preferred or ability to obtain)
Extensive experience working with PG County, WSSC, and SHA or MDTA
Proven ability to lead major projects and maintain client relationships
Deep understanding of stormwater regulations, permitting, and delivery

Technical Experience

Strong working knowledge of MicroStation and AutoCAD
Experience leading design teams and overseeing production
