Senior Structural Engineer - Power Generation

We are seeking a highly skilled experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Power & Energy sector. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural components for power generation facilities, substations, and related infrastructure. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective designs that meet industry standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop structural designs for power plants, renewable energy facilities, and transmission infrastructure.
  • Perform structural analysis using advanced software tools and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (ASCE, AISC, Eurocode, etc.).
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers to integrate structural solutions into overall project designs.
  • Conduct site assessments and provide technical support during construction phases.
  • Ensure designs meet safety, sustainability, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of experience in structural design within the Power & Energy sector - preference to minimum of 4 years of solar structural design, substation or transmission foundation design, wind or battery storage.
  • Proficiency in at least one structural analysis software (e.g., RISA3D, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS etc.).
  • AutoCAD experience.
  • Strong knowledge of steel and concrete design principles (must enjoy doing structural foundation design!)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
