Senior Structural Engineer
An established and mission-driven engineering team is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer based in Indianapolis to lead structural assessments, design repairs, and support technical sales efforts across a diverse portfolio of existing structures. This is a remote role with occasional travel, offering a unique blend of autonomy, impact, and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed inspections of existing structures and produce actionable reports.
- Design and engineer structural repairs, ensuring compliance with codes and client needs.
- Collaborate with business development and client teams to communicate technical findings and solutions.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams and subcontractors.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to peer reviews and training initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Civil/Structural Engineering (P.E. preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in concrete construction, restoration, or forensic investigation.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for solving complex structural challenges.
