They are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join their dynamic consulting team in Nashville. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a leadership role, influence project outcomes, and mentor the next generation of engineers.
The Role
- Act as the lead engineer on complex projects, providing technical expertise and guidance.
- Collaborate directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver creative, cost-effective solutions.
- Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for compliance with codes and standards.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to their technical and professional development.
- Support business development efforts through proposal writing and client presentations.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of structural engineering experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Expertise in steel, concrete, masonry, and wood design.
- Strong knowledge of ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, and IBC codes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with structural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, RISA, EnerCalc, etc.).
