Overview
We're supporting a well‑established general contractor that has recently secured multiple ground‑up water and wastewater treatment plant projects in the Naples area. The team is adding a proven Senior Superintendent to lead field delivery across complex civil, structural, and process‑mechanical scopes from mobilization through commissioning.
What You'll Lead
- Full field leadership for W/WWTP projects: sitework, deep foundations, concrete structures, tanks/basins, process buildings, and yard piping.
- Day‑to‑day planning and execution: look‑aheads, manpower loading, logistics, and equipment planning to maintain critical path.
- Trade coordination across process equipment, mechanical piping, electrical/controls, and instrumentation-partnering closely with the engineer of record and owner reps.
- Safety first: champion OSHA standards, JHAs, toolbox talks, subcontractor compliance, and site audits.
- Quality and compliance: concrete/structural QA/QC, testing, inspection coordination, start‑up/commissioning, and record documentation.
- Project controls in the field: RFIs, submittals, change impacts, daily reports, and progress photos in Procore (or similar).
- Relationships: set the tone for collaboration with owners, engineers, and inspectors while mentoring assistant supers and field engineers.
What You Bring
- 10+ years of field leadership with 5+ years as a Superintendent on water/wastewater treatment builds (municipal experience strongly preferred).
- Depth in heavy civil and structural concrete; confident reading plans, specs, P&IDs, and shop drawings.
- Demonstrated coordination of process/mechanical trades (pumps, clarifiers, chemical feed, blowers, digesters) and electrical/controls.
- Proficiency with Procore (or similar), look‑ahead planning, and schedule coordination (MS Project or P6).
- Strong safety track record; OSHA‑30 required (or achieved within 30 days). First Aid/CPR preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to move between project sites in Collier County.
- Nice‑to‑have: Florida municipal experience, FDEP familiarity, Spanish/English bilingual, water/wastewater operator background, or NICET.
