Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer
We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of our client, a leading, 100% employee owned civil engineering firm, for a Water/Wastewater Engineer with 6-15 years of progressive experience. This role offers the opportunity to lead technical tasks, manage projects, and mentor junior staff while working on impactful infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, plan, and provide design for water/wastewater projects from concept through construction
- Prepare and monitor project budgets; ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
- Lead project planning from procurement through execution and closeout
- Participate in construction phase services, including pre-bid conferences and contract preparation
- Support proposal development and technical approach preparation
- Deliver high-quality technical work with minimal supervision
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Minimum 6 years of experience in water/wastewater system planning, design, and construction
- Expertise in water/wastewater treatment plants/systems, force mains, and sanitary sewer evaluation/design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Louisiana or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lead and coordinate technical tasks independently
