Structural Engineer
Company Summary: Looking for an immediate hire to work with a leading Structural Engineering company based in Seattle, Washington. This position is an opportunity to work on complex structural projects within healthcare, education and commercial buildings.
The Structural Engineer Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Oversee the planning, design, and development of commercial high-rise and institutional projects, ensuring timely delivery of construction documents and coordination of design tasks across multidisciplinary teams
- Manage preliminary structural design efforts, including wind load assessments, seismic design strategies, and code compliance reviews, while identifying innovative solutions and alternative products
- Lead construction administration activities, including site visits, RFI resolution, and document revisions, maintaining clear and consistent communication with clients, contractors, and consultants
- Monitor project milestones using project management software, maintain detailed logs, and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders
- Provide technical leadership in seismic design, ensuring lateral systems meet applicable codes and standards
The Structural Engineer Project Manager should have the following qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in structural engineering or related field
- PE Licensed in Washington
- SE Licensed in Washington
- Engineering Bachelor's degree required
- Engineering Master's degree required
- Technical skills: experience with Revit or AutoCAD
