Substation Team Lead
- Overall technical responsibility for FEED and detailed design phases for TSO substation projects
- Ensuring quality, completeness, and on-time delivery of all engineering and design packages
- Resource planning, leadership, and technical development of the engineering team
- Technical review and approval of primary engineering designs, including:
- Substation layouts
- Earthing and grounding concepts
- Interlocking schemes
- Busbar calculations
- Equipment specifications
- Coordination with internal engineering disciplines, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Responsibility for technical sections of tenders, including evaluation of technical bids
- Leading design reviews, risk workshops, and technical acceptance processes
- Participation in FAT, SAT, and site inspections
- Active customer interface and technical support for business development activities
Your Profile
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical qualification
- Minimum 10 years of experience in high-voltage substation projects (150 kV and above)
- Strong expertise in primary engineering, system design, and technical specifications
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Proven stakeholder management skills and experience in coaching and mentoring engineers
