Hello Network, we currently have another new job opening for a electrical superintendent to be based in North Carolina working on largscale commercial and industrial projects.
About the Role
We are looking for a driven and experienced Superintendent to oversee the execution of industrial and commercial construction projects across North and South Carolina. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site supervision, subcontractor coordination, and safety compliance, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain project schedules.
- Monitor progress and quality, resolving issues proactively to avoid delays.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Conduct site meetings, inspections, and reporting for project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to align field activities with project goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, logs, and change orders.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in industrial or commercial construction.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, safety regulations, and project sequencing.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and schedules.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel across North and South Carolina as needed.
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training preferred.
- Proficiency in construction management software is a plus.
Preferred Experience
- Projects involving manufacturing facilities, data centers, or large-scale commercial builds.
- Experience working with union and non-union labor.
- Familiarity with lean construction practices and quality control systems.
