We are currently seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to join our growing team in Atlanta, GA.
Position Overview
As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all field operations on complex water and wastewater construction projects. You will ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day field operations, including subcontractor coordination and site logistics.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Interpret project plans, specifications, and schedules to ensure proper execution.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
- Lead site meetings and maintain strong communication with engineers, inspectors, and clients.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on water/wastewater treatment plant or pump station projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil, mechanical, and electrical construction practices.
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and field crews effectively.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency with construction management software is a plus.
