What You'll Do
As a Surveying Technician, you'll support a variety of land surveying projects including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS land title, construction layout, and utility surveys. You'll work closely with licensed surveyors, engineers, and project managers to collect and process field data using the latest technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate total stations, GPS, and data collectors in the field
- Assist with construction staking and layout
- Perform boundary and topographic surveys
- Download, process, and organize field data for CAD drafting
- Maintain field equipment and ensure accurate data collection
- Collaborate with office staff to ensure project accuracy and deadlines
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of surveying experience (field or office)
- Familiarity with Trimble, Leica, or similar survey equipment
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
