Telecommunications Project Superintendent - Atlanta, Georgia

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Telecommunications Project Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations of telecom infrastructure projects in the Atlanta area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing field crews, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining project schedules, and delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site activities related to telecommunications construction projects, including fiber optic, wireless, and structured cabling installations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure efficient workflow and quality control.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources; report progress to the Project Manager.
• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks.
• Resolve on-site issues and conflicts promptly and effectively.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, permitting, and logistics teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Telecommunications, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in telecommunications construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of telecom systems including fiber optics, coaxial, and wireless infrastructure.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites across the Atlanta metro area.
