- Lead the design and delivery of water/wastewater infrastructure projects, including treatment facilities and conveyance systems
- Serve as a subject matter expert in permitting, treatability studies, process optimization, and system operations
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality for multiple projects
- Oversee and mentor engineering teams, coordinating with other disciplines as needed
- Conduct site visits and maintain strong client relationships
- Support business development through client outreach, proposal preparation, and cost estimating
- Promote safety and quality standards across all project phases
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff and contribute to a collaborative team environmen
- Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering (master's degree a plus)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 8-10+ years of progressive experience in water and wastewater treatment infrastructure projects
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects and teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions
- Expertise in current engineering technologies, codes, and practices relevant to water/wastewater systems
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and leadership potential
- A problem-solving mindset, using creativity, engineering expertise, and collaboration to tackle complex challenges.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to discuss timelines and technical details with clients, agencies, and internal teams.
- A thorough understanding of codes, regulations, and design standards in relevant jurisdictions.
