Location: Denver, CO
Work Style: Hybrid (3 days remote, 2 days in-office)

Role Overview

As a Associate Principal / Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading multidisciplinary building systems design teams
  • Managing client relationships and developing new business opportunities
  • Designing HVAC systems and producing technical documentation
  • Overseeing junior staff and ensuring quality across deliverables
  • Conducting site visits and supporting construction phases
  • Communicating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in building systems design (MEP), preferably in the Denver area
  • Proven leadership and project management capabilities
  • Strong client engagement and communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of building codes and HVAC systems

Preferred:

  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent experience
  • LEED accreditation
  • Familiarity with energy modeling tools (e.g., IES-VE)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $120,000-$145,000 plus performance-based bonus
