Role Overview
As a Associate Principal / Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
- Leading multidisciplinary building systems design teams
- Managing client relationships and developing new business opportunities
- Designing HVAC systems and producing technical documentation
- Overseeing junior staff and ensuring quality across deliverables
- Conducting site visits and supporting construction phases
- Communicating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in building systems design (MEP), preferably in the Denver area
- Proven leadership and project management capabilities
- Strong client engagement and communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of building codes and HVAC systems
Preferred:
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent experience
- LEED accreditation
- Familiarity with energy modeling tools (e.g., IES-VE)
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $120,000-$145,000 plus performance-based bonus
