About the Role
A well-established and growing engineering consultancy is seeking a Bridge Design Engineer to join its expanding team. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated engineer to take the next step in their career by working on a diverse range of projects and clients throughout New England. In this role, you'll have the chance to lead technical assignments, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to impactful infrastructure projects that shape communities across the region. Responsibilities
- Lead or support bridge and structural engineering projects from concept through completion.
- Build and support a structural team across multiple office locations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the region to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
- Participate in client meetings and public presentations, contributing to project development and delivery.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3-12 years of experience in bridge design.
- BS in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- PE license preferred (or actively pursuing licensure).
- Strong technical proficiency in bridge design and structural calculations.
- Familiarity with AASHTO and MassDOT design manuals, standards, and procedures.
- Ability to mentor junior engineering staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently.
