Business Development Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain leads, market intelligence, and client contacts to support business growth
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within target markets
- Collaborate with internal teams to align business development strategies with market initiatives
- Support proposal development, RFQs/RFPs, and interview preparation
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new opportunities
- Track and manage project leads and client engagement activities
- Participate in industry events, organizations, and client-focused initiatives
- Contribute to firm-wide business development planning and marketing strategies
- Maintain CRM data and assist with marketing collateral, website updates, and branding materials
- Coach and support project managers in client engagement and presentation readiness
Qualifications
- 4+ years of business development experience within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industry
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to research and generate leads
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Adobe InDesign
- Experience with CRM systems
- Strong writing and editing capabilities
- Experience managing RFQ/RFP processes
- Familiarity with marketing, graphics, or design production
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field
