Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams involved in the design, analysis, and construction of public and private infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with clients and regulatory agencies to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to maintain alignment with goals and deadlines.
  • Prepare technical documentation including reports, specifications, cost estimates, and design packages.
  • Monitor project progress and performance to ensure quality outcomes and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience in transportation engineering.
  • Demonstrated success managing transportation projects through final Plans, Specifications & Estimates (PS&E).
  • Proficient in design softwares such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and OpenRoads Designer.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Familiarity with Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) regulations & permitting processes.
