Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams involved in the design, analysis, and construction of public and private infrastructure.
- Collaborate with clients and regulatory agencies to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to applicable engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to maintain alignment with goals and deadlines.
- Prepare technical documentation including reports, specifications, cost estimates, and design packages.
- Monitor project progress and performance to ensure quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in transportation engineering.
- Demonstrated success managing transportation projects through final Plans, Specifications & Estimates (PS&E).
- Proficient in design softwares such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and OpenRoads Designer.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Familiarity with Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) regulations & permitting processes.
