A well-established engineering consulting firm in Southern California is seeking a Civil Engineer with Water/Wastewater experience to join its growing team in San Diego. This is an opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of municipal infrastructure projects while partnering with experienced technical leaders and project managers.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and manage water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through construction.
- Prepare engineering plans, specifications, technical reports, and cost estimates.
- Support the design of pipelines, pump stations, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and related facilities.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
- Assist with project management responsibilities including schedules, budgets, and client communication.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in water, wastewater, or municipal infrastructure engineering.
- Experience with pipeline, pump station, conveyance, treatment, or utility projects.
- Proficiency with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and/or related engineering design software.
- California PE license preferred or ability to obtain in the near term.
- Strong communication skills and experience working directly with clients and project teams.
