Role Overview
As a Civil Engineer focused on Land Development, you will be responsible for designing and managing a variety of site development projects including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. You'll work closely with clients, municipalities, and internal teams to deliver creative, cost-effective solutions from concept through construction.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare site layouts, grading, stormwater management, utility design, and erosion control plans
Perform site and infrastructure design in accordance with local and state regulations
Lead or support permitting processes with municipalities and regulatory agencies
Coordinate with surveyors, architects, planners, and environmental consultants
Mentor junior engineers and assist project managers with scheduling and budgeting
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required)
PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months (preferred)
3-8 years of relevant land development experience
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
