A well-established and growing multi-disciplinary consulting firm is seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join its Site Design team in Irvine, California. With over four decades of industry experience and a strong presence across multiple states, this firm is known for delivering high-quality engineering and surveying services that positively impact communities nationwide.
What You'll Do:
As a Civil Engineer specializing in site design, you'll play a key role in shaping the built environment through a variety of development and redevelopment projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing site civil engineering plans such as grading, paving, erosion control, horizontal control, utility layouts, and off-site street improvements.
- Preparing hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, water quality management plans, and related technical reports.
- Developing Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP).
- Conducting site research and managing permitting processes.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to project success from concept through construction.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a U.S.-accredited institution.
- EIT certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 4-7 years of relevant U.S.-based experience in site design for retail, commercial, industrial, residential, hospitality, or mixed-use developments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrology/hydraulic software.
