Key Responsibilities
- Design, size, and implement low and medium voltage power systems in compliance with NEC, NFPA, and other codes
- Lead the design, construction, commissioning, and startup of capital projects
- Upgrade and maintain electrical power generation and distribution systems
- Collaborate with engineers and operations personnel to integrate new technologies
- Support and maintain VFDs, PLCs, instrumentation, and process computers
- Maintain and update technical documentation including schematics and manuals
- Provide technical support to maintenance and production teams
- Create and manage electrical drawings and schematics
- Oversee large-scale capital projects and coordinate with external vendors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required (BSEE or BSME preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2016 or later
- Strong technical writing skills for operations and maintenance documentation
- Experience in industrial manufacturing or process industries preferred
- Familiarity with Siemens PLCs, including upgrades from S7-300 to S7-1500
- Proficient in Siemens Simatic Manager and TIA Portal (V15.1 to V18)
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work within project scope and budget
- Strong mechanical engineering knowledge is a plus
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
