Electrical Engineer - Power & Energy Infrastructure

Overview
Join a leading engineering team focused on modernizing energy infrastructure. In this role, you'll contribute to the design and delivery of electrical systems for complex facilities, including nuclear and industrial power plants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical lead or subject matter expert on multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Develop electrical design packages, including one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment layouts.
  • Perform advanced calculations (e.g., load flow, short circuit, arc flash) using tools like ETAP or SKM.
  • Prepare specifications, bills of materials, and procurement documents.
  • Support field investigations, client meetings, and construction activities.
  • Use tools such as AutoCAD, ProjectWise, and Microsoft Office for design and documentation.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and quality standards for assigned tasks or projects.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Experience in nuclear or large-scale power facility design
  • Strong background in electrical distribution systems and project leadership

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for work on regulated nuclear projects (e.g., U.S. citizenship per 10 CFR 810)
