What You'll Do:
- Define project scope, budget, and staffing with design teams.
- Design and document electrical systems, including load calculations, power distribution, and equipment sizing.
- Troubleshoot complex design/code issues and develop engineering studies.
- Collaborate with sustainability teams to integrate renewable energy solutions.
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client expectations.
- Use Revit and other tools to deliver high-quality design documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and support team development.
What You Bring:
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in power system design for healthcare, commercial, or government projects.
- Professional licensure (or ability to obtain).
- Experience with consulting or A/E firms.
- Strong knowledge of IECC, LEED, ASHRAE, NEC, NFPA, and FGI Guidelines.
- Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with tools like SKM, Easy Power, or Helioscope.
