Field Service Engineer - Food & Beverage Systems (Greater Boston Area & Allentown, PA)
We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to provide technical expertise and hands-on support for water treatment and sanitation systems in food and beverage production environments. This role combines problem-solving, customer service, and system optimization to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
What You'll Do
- Act as a technical resource for customers, offering guidance on system performance and best practices.
- Support installation and calibration of equipment, including pumps, piping, chemical feed systems, and monitoring technology.
- Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical systems to ensure reliability and compliance.
- Deliver on-site training for customer teams and assist with operational improvements.
- Build strong relationships with plant personnel and collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare detailed service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Manage inventory and supplies at customer locations.
- Uphold safety standards and meet performance metrics for service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support customer success.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, or a related technical field preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years in water treatment, sanitation, or food plant operations.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of water treatment and food sanitation processes.
- Familiarity with cooling, boiler, and wastewater systems.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and monitoring technology.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to use MS Office and CRM platforms effectively.

Physical & Travel Requirements
