About the Company:
A mission-driven company in the sustainable infrastructure space, focused on converting organic waste into renewable energy and valuable byproducts, is seeking a Business Analyst. The organization operates across North America and Europe and is backed by a major sustainable investment firm.

Role Summary:
The Business Analyst will support the operations of anaerobic digestion facilities by analyzing data, identifying performance trends, and developing actionable insights. This role bridges operations, finance, and engineering to drive efficiency and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain financial models to assess project viability, including capital and operational costs, revenue forecasts, and incentive structures.
  • Analyze operational data to improve efficiency, biogas output, and overall facility performance.
  • Develop business cases and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Document and optimize business processes; recommend automation where applicable.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and support solution implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and success.
  • Assist in managing project timelines, risks, and reporting.
  • Support change management during system or process rollouts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required (engineering preferred); MBA is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling, data interpretation, and project coordination.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and Tableau.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to present complex data clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally without direct authority.

Work Environment:

  • Remote-first role with occasional travel (less than 25%).
  • Full-time position, standard business hours with flexibility as needed.
