We are recruiting on behalf of a leading international consulting firm for a senior leadership role within its Financial Crime practice. This position is suited for an accomplished professional with deep expertise in financial crime advisory, regulatory consulting, and risk management, who is prepared to lead and grow the firm's national presence in this space.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic growth, managing high-value client relationships, and delivering complex advisory engagements across Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC), and broader financial crime compliance. This is a high-impact role requiring both subject matter expertise and commercial leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the national Financial Crime practice, including strategy, client delivery, and team development.
  • Originate and manage engagements across AML, ABC, sanctions compliance, and regulatory risk.
  • Maintain and grow a personal book of business exceeding £2 million in annual revenue.
  • Develop and sustain senior client relationships across financial services and corporate sectors.
  • Collaborate with global leadership to align national initiatives with international strategy.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Financial Crime, Regulatory Consulting, Risk Advisory, AML, and ABC.
  • Proven track record of revenue generation and business development from own origination.
  • Existing book of business of at least £2 million.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and experience managing high-performing teams.
  • Deep understanding of UK and international regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
