  • Scripting & SQL: Jython/Python for business rules and data transforms; SQL (PostgreSQL/SQL Server) for queries, historian tuning, and retention strategies.
  • Commissioning: lead FAT/SAT, point‑to‑point, sequence validation, witness testing, and turnover packages (as‑builts, O&M, training).

What you'll bring

  • 5-10+ years in SCADA/HMI; 3+ years hands‑on Ignition (Perspective/Vision, Gateway, Historian, Alarm Notification).

  • Solid SQL + Jython, UDT design, tag naming standards, and alarming strategy.
  • Controls/OT networking (Layer 2/3, firewalls/NAT, DMZs, certificates, TLS).
  • Documentation rigor and clear client communication.
