Instrumentation and Controls Engineer
Position Overview
We're looking for an experienced engineer to contribute to the design and integration of advanced building systems for complex facilities. This role involves developing control strategies, specifying components, and supporting implementation and commissioning activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in engineering principles and an interest in working on challenging projects that require collaboration across multiple disciplines.
What You'll Do
- Assist in creating system strategies and operational sequences for building automation.
- Support selection of sensors, controllers, and related components.
- Help design network architecture for integrated systems.
- Prepare diagrams and documentation for system layouts and configurations.
- Participate in reviewing technical submittals and resolving design-related questions.
- Conduct site observations and assist with commissioning activities.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful delivery.
What We're Looking For
- Engineering degree from an accredited program.
- FE Passed or EIT
- Ability to work on multidisciplinary projects and coordinate with various stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel occasionally and meet client requirements.
Compensation
Competitive salary based on experience, typically in the range of $80K-$130K, plus benefits.
