Job Title: Senior Account Manager - Water Treatment
Location: Field-Based (Central Mississippi Territory)
Travel Requirement: 80-100% within territory
Salary Range: Competitive base salary plus commissions (DOE)


Position Overview

A global provider of water treatment solutions is seeking a Senior Account Manager to support client engagement and business development in the Central Mississippi region. This field-based role offers strong growth potential and the opportunity to work directly with industrial and commercial clients in the water sector.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships across the assigned territory.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts.
  • Deliver technical solutions tailored to customer needs and industry standards.
  • Provide timely and professional responses to customer inquiries and service requests.
  • Educate clients on new products, technologies, and service offerings.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and maintain a high level of field engagement.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and participate in relevant technical committees.
  • Track sales activities and pipeline progression using CRM tools.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity, and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience; Certified Water Technologist (CWT) preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or technical roles within the water treatment or related industries.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
  • Valid driver's license and eligibility to operate a company vehicle or participate in a vehicle reimbursement program.

Physical & Mental Requirements

  • Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and industrial equipment.
  • Capable of standing, walking, lifting, bending, and working in varied physical conditions.
  • Comfortable working in high-temperature environments for extended periods.
  • Able to operate a motor vehicle for long durations, including overnight travel.
  • Must follow all customer safety protocols and procedures.
