WHAT YOU'LL DO
Project & Technical Leadership
* Lead structural design for a variety of building types including healthcare, higher education, hospitality, multi-family, commercial, and renovation/adaptive reuse.
* Oversee project execution-scope, schedule, budget, coordination, and quality.
* Drive design decisions using sound engineering judgment and clear documentation.
* Partner with architects/MEP/civil teams and support construction administration as needed.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
* Mentor and develop junior engineers through coaching, oversight, and technical review.
* Support resource planning, workflow coordination, and team collaboration.
Client & Growth Support
* Build strong client relationships through responsive communication and trusted guidance.
* Support proposals, interviews, and project tracking; contribute to business development efforts in a way that fits your strengths.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (REQUIRED)
* B.S. in Civil Engineering (M.S. with structural emphasis preferred).
* 7+ years of experience in structural building design.
* Professional Engineer (PE) license.
* Demonstrated experience leading projects and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.
* Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with clients and project stakeholders.
NICE TO HAVE
* Experience in healthcare and/or higher education projects.
* Proficiency with Revit and common structural analysis/design tools.
* Proven track record mentoring engineers or leading technical review processes.
* Experience with renovation, existing buildings, and/or retrofit work.
